Description

Kamajokk means "thundering river". The river is a central part to the magnificent landscape north of Kvikkjokk. Here you find varying landscape with undisturbed forest, mires, streams and forest lakes. In the southernmost part of the reserve you can see traces of the storm which felled many trees in December 2001. The whole area is 6.2 square kilometres in size.
