Description
The nature reserve Kalix outer archipelago comprises 21 islands in the outer area of Kalix archipelago. Several of the islands have rich flora and many are valuable to birdlife. The whole area is 93 square kilometres and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the islands. It is also forbidden to go ashore on the island of Kusen between 1 May and 31 July. Special hunting regulations apply, contact the County Administrative Board for more information.
