Description

Isovaara lies just outside the community of Övertorneå. It is a valuable recreation area for exercise, relaxation and experiencing nature. There are several hiking trails and on the 174 m summit there is a stopover cabin with a hearth. From here you have a vast view over the Torne river valley. The area is 2.2 square kilometres in size. Snowmobiling is not permitted.
