Description

Gåbddie is a small, scenic area. The nature reserve comprises the summit of Gåbbdie mountain, which rises to 550 metres a s l, and its steep south slope. At the bottom of the slope there is a much visited fishing lake called Tjuvvielgejávrrie. The area is 0.6 square kilometres in size.

Gåbddie lies in the eastern part ofArvidsjaur Municipality, about 4 kilometres north of the village of Rättsel. There is a small logging road leading to Tjuvvielgejávrrie (aka Flottajaure). From Rättsel you drive towards Ljusträsk, and after about 2.5 kilometres turn west. Follow the road in a southwesterly direction for about 3 kilometres to get to the lake. The County Administrative Board does not know the state of the road, and does not maintain it.
