Description

The nature reserve Bålkaberget is a vast, scenic area with low fells covered by spruce forests interspersed with mires, stream and lakes. There are several ancient trails in the area, for example in the southern part of the area, between Mausjaur and Grundträskliden. In the northern part there are snowmobile trails, which however are not managed by the County Administrative Board. The area is 20.7 square kilometres in size.
