Just 10 km from the community of Övertorneå you can enjoy a walk out onto the Armasjärvi mire. In summertime there is an abundance of various flowers to see. The lime in the ground enables fairly fastidious species to thrive here. There is a circular trail prepared with plankways and interpretive signs, and two stopover sites with tables and benches. The area is 0.7 square kilometres in size. The use of snowmobiles is banned except on a snowmobile trail (if any). Fires may only be lit in the prepared hearths, but bring your own firewood.
