Tungan peninsula

The Tungan peninsula with its ancient trees and dead wood juts out into Lake Toftasjön. This is a most favourable combination for both insects and birds. Listen for lesser spotted woodpecker, crested tit and willow tit. Along the shores of Lake Toftasjön, there are several beautiful flat rock areas from which there is good swimming, and close to the lake, there is an abundance of bilberries. At the end of the peninsula, there is a permanent fireplace equipped for grilling. Respect the prohibition against lighting fires, during times what it is in effect, and keep the place naturally clean.
