Echo Water Tower Teleborg

The water tower in Teleborg was built in 1974 and is sometimes called the "Echo Temple" when an extremely powerful echo effect is created under the dome-shaped reservoir roof. This well-visited attraction is located high in the nature reserve's open agricultural landscape, within walking distance of Linnaeus University's campus. The construction of the water tower is 35 meters in diameter, 28 meters high and is supported by 14 white pillars. The exciting echo has amazed visitors for many years, sound waves bounce more than twenty times between the convex dome roof and the visitor's ears. There are also some bench tables for a picnic with nice views. Please keep this destination in the nature reserve clean and tidy.
