Nature reserve
At Sjösås meadow, the nature reserve trail winds between grazing pasture and hayfields. Hazel, ash and trimmed lime trees are accompanied by wolf's bane, butterfly orchids, milkwort and sun rose. You may encounter a green woodpecker or a starling. Some of the giant oaks in this area are hollow, and are reminiscent of the baobab trees of the African savanna, or perhaps Pippi Longstocking's lemonade tree.
