Sigfrid Trail stage SL5 Hemmesjösjön rest area-Sandvik beach – Part of the Småland Trail

The stage route from the Hemmesjösjön rest area to the Sandvik beach has a trail grading of blue. It starts over open views past the Hemmesjö old church with more forest contact to Åryd with a nice bathing area, grocery store, bus stop and cultural environment. After the railway crossing, easy-to-hike gravel roads follow to the end of the stage at the peaceful Sandvik beach. Here at lake Tegnaby there are several outdoor facilities that make overnight stays or a lunch break easy. Three lakes are passed on this hiking stage. It is, as always – easy to make public access.
