Sigfrid Trail stage SL1 Asa-Nykulla - Part of the Småland Trail

The Sigfridsleden stage between Asa and Nykulla viewing tower offers a variety of lakeside views and terrain. The trail is graded as red as some heights are passed. Most of it is still easy hiking. Three lakes are passed on the tour. Places to stay overnight are in Asa with a manor hotel and hostel, at Tolg nature camping or in a shelter at the Nykulla rest area near the end of the stage. Bus stops in Tolg and Nykulla facilitate sustainable transport on shorter hiking trips. In the scenic hub of Asa, the Höglandsleden meets the trail, which continues towards Ramkvilla and Sävsjö in Jönköping County.
