Description
Härlunda fish conservation area is a large territory with around 50 lakes in various sizes and with different depths and fish stock. This is a sparsely populated area with unique nature experiences to offer. You can for example find northern pike, bass, tench, bream, roach and others.
There are plenty of bathing and boat places in the surroundings and also the possibility to rent a boat.
The right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Härlunda you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through www.ifiske.se or at the tourist information office in the Älmhult municipal hall or i Handelsboden in Häradsbäck.
In some waters there are areas which are excluded from fishing, either temporary or permanently. Always make sure to look up what rules apply to the specific area you are interested in.
Good luck with the fish!
