Description

In 1894, this runestone was found in a field nearby. The original location where the stone was erected remains unknown. Today, it stands near a burial site from the younger Iron Age (500-1050 AD). The runestone dates back to the same period as the graves, and it’s possible that one of the individuals buried here also had the stone inscribed.

The inscription reads: “Västen made this memorial mound for Åsbjörn, his brother, at the crossroads.”
