Description
Author: Folke Fridell (1904 - 1985), born in Lagan, worked at Lagans Yllefabrik for thirty years. In 1945, he made his debut with the novel ‘Tack för mig, grottekvarn’ (‘Thanks for Having Me, Grottekvarn’). Through his portrayals of workers’ rights and participation in industrial society, Folke Fridell became one of Sweden’s leading proletarian writers.
