Description

In 2002, Råshult became Sweden's tenth cultural reserve by decision of the County Administrative Board in Kronoberg County. The purpose is to show how people have used the natural conditions for their livelihood and to make the traces of this custom visible to the visitor. The cultural reserve is set aside to preserve and bring to life the early 18th century landscape at Carl von Linné's birthplace.

The reserve is a great place to hike, have coffee and just enjoy. Here you can also get a guided tour with Carl von Linné himself. Read more about the whole area at linnesrashult.se, see link below, where there is also information about cafés and guided tours.
