Description

Since the summer of 2023, there has been a marked dog bath right next to the footpath before the bathing area here in Årydsjön. Can be nice to cool the fur here in summer for four-legged friends. As always, dog owners are responsible for safe swimming in the bay.

Around Växjö's swimmable lakes, there are many bays and other places, without dog bans, that provide the opportunity for pleasant bathing. You can find out more about the rules and tips for dog swimming on Växjö municipality's website.
