Description
The burial ground consists of about 60 ancient remains, most of which are burial mounds. There is an oval burial mound and a long mound, as well as about ten ship settings.
The runestone stands next to the small road between Asplund and Horsaberga, at a large Iron Age burial ground. The carver who made this stone also carved one of the runestones at Ryssby Church. The inscription reads: "Vemund satte denna sten efter sin broder Sven, mild mot de sina, med mat frikostig, i ord prisad, allra mest" (Vemund placed this stone after his brother Sven, kind to his kin, generous with food, praised in words, most of all).
