Description
The burial ground at Ingelstad consists of 94 burial mounds, of which 90 are round and four are oval. Additionally, there are six graves marked with standing stones.
At the southernmost part of the burial ground, on the other side of the road, there is a runestone. It originally stood 30 meters further south. The inscription on the stone reads: "... reste stenen efter Torger, sin fader. Han dog i England" (... raised the stone after Torger, his father. He died in England). The name at the beginning of the inscription cannot be read today, but it may be the Old Norse name Udd.
