Description

Lake, forest and marsh. The Fiolen nature reserve offers a wide variety of environments. Fiolen itself is a beautiful spring lake with unusually clear water. At Åkhultsmossen, there are both black grouse and owl territories, as well as the carnivorous plants silk hair. East of the bog there is also a blocky old-growth forest that easily brings to mind gnomes and trolls. For more information about directions, maps and general information about the nature reserve, see the link below. The reserve is located in both Växjö and Alvesta municipalities. The reserve is managed by the Kronoberg County Administrative Board.
