Description

Ekebergsskogen is challenging and the terrain is hilly in places. Nothing is contrived, everything is genuine. A fine-meshed network of forest paths winds its way between lush blueberry bushes and soft moss mats. The area is also called Högstorpskogen and is popular for hiking, forest games, cross-country running and mountain biking. A challenging mountain bike area in the southern part creates pulse and adrenaline for cyclists with excellent technique. The natural values are also strong here. Moist spruce forest and well-grown pine are followed by slopes with birch. Occasional deciduous trees and juniper bushes are also part of the palette, along with streams, marshes and sudden heights. Pine tit, tufted titmouse and kingfisher thrive in the forest, which also harbors wild boar and the small forest orchid knärot. Activities And Facilities

Ekebergsskogen is located between highway 27 and the Högstorp district. Several small paths lead to the area from Högstorp, including from the point where Tjädervägen meets Ejdervägen.
