Djurle myr

Djurle marsh is the largest plain in the municipality. Quiet lark song and curlews follow the fields and pastures. On balmy summer nights you can often hear quail playing, sometimes also corncrake and grasshopper warbler. In the fall, the fields are visited by large numbers of geese, cranes and small birds. Birds of prey such as marsh harriers, stone falcons and tawny owls are also attracted to the area. Study the birdlife from the small roads in the area, but use your judgment so that you do not disturb the birdlife or the farms' chores and commercial traffic.
