Bergastigen

This nature trail reaches around Lagan locality. It will take you along
the river Lagan, a ravine called Bergaravinen, through a pine forest, past the
golf course and continue on the canal embankment towards Bro power plant.

Bergastigen offers exuberant wildlife and vegetation. With open meadows,
pine forests, glistening water and deciduous forest, this trail definitely has
it all. Along the trail, there is also a Lärande stig, which means that along
the trail you can find 40 signs with information about the vegetation and
animals in the area. Bergastigen also takes you past Bergaravinen, a 7 metres deep
and 300 metres long ravine, and through it runs Trotteslövsbäcken.

At Bergaravinen, you will also find the only skywalk in Sweden. Bergastigen
Skywalk reaches 5 metres into the ravine, 8 metres above the creek (1). The
forest path continues along the river Lagan and crosses Aspudden, where you
will find a lovely grilling area. Once you cross the suspension bridge, you can
continue towards Bro power plant. Then you will continue on the canal
embankment, past Berga church and along the golf course. Continue into the
woods all the way back to Bergaravinen.

Bergastigen crosses both quiet streets and major roads, which makes it
easy for you take another route of your choosing. Along Bergastigen, you can
find a few alternative routes, as well as several spots where you can take a
break and enjoy the surroundings.
