Description
Built in 1799 as a residence for the inspector at Hagelsrums mill.
In 1965 the last tenant moved out and the house was left to decay until the mid-1990s, when it was taken over by the local history society. Since then, the Swedish Building Conservation Association has organized a number of building conservation camps to restore the house using traditional materials and methods. Vita havet is today in private ownership.
