The reserve in Kalmarsund east of Stuvenäs can only be reached by boat, the area along the entire shore is private land.

In the nature reserve you are not allowed:

• During April 1 - September 15, you are not allowed to be in the areas marked on the map that you can see further down the page, or on site in the reserve.
• During April 1 - July 31, you may not go ashore on Svartö or Norra Sandholmen or be closer to the beach of these islands than 100 meters. This applies to the areas marked on the map that you can see further down the page, or on site in the reserve.
• Drive any vehicle or craft.
• Driving or landing a hovercraft, hydrocopter, low-flying aircraft or similar craft.
• Water skiing.
• Mooring or anchoring a houseboat.
• Driving or landing a low-flying aircraft.
• camping
• Bringing a dog or other animal that is not on a leash.
• erecting a board, sign, poster or similar device or making inscriptions
• Making a fire.
• Damage or remove fixed natural objects or surface formations.
• Digging, pulling up or picking plants or plant parts. You may pick berries and edible mushrooms.
• Damage or remove trees, stumps, bark, branches, bushes or brush that are growing or dead.
• Hunt, kill, capture or injure wild mammals, amphibians, reptiles or birds.
• Remove or damage eggs or nests.
• Deliberately disturbing wildlife.
• using the area for competitions or exercises
• Carrying out commercial activities.
• Fishing with anything other than a casting rod, rod and reel.

If you have been granted permission by the County Administrative Board, you may:

• Conduct surveys or research.

C. Regulations under Section 10 of the Nature Conservation Act on what the public must observe within the reserve.

In addition to regulations and prohibitions in other legislation, it is forbidden to

1. during the period April 1 to September 15, travel or stay within zone I as marked on the attached map, Appendix 1 or to land there by boat or other craft
2. during the period April 1 to July 31, travel or stay on Svartö or Norra Sandholmen or come closer than 100 m to the shore of these islands. The areas are marked with a grid on the attached map, Appendix 1
3. drive any type of vehicle or craft on the mainland
4. operate a hovercraft, hydrocopter, jet ski or similar craft or go water skiing
5. mooring a houseboat
6. flying low-flying aircraft or landing with aircraft
7. camping
8. Bringing an unleashed dog or other stray pet
9. Erect a board, sign, poster or similar device or make an inscription
10. Making a fire
11. Destroying, removing or damaging a fixed natural object or surface formation
12. digging up or picking plants or plant parts, except berries and edible mushrooms
13. Damage or remove growing or dead trees, stumps, bark, branches, bushes or brush
14. Hunt, kill, capture or injure wild mammals, amphibians, reptiles or birds, remove or damage eggs or nests or otherwise disturb wildlife
15. use the land area for competition or training activities
16. using the water area for competitions or exercises with motorized craft
17. carry out commercial activities
18. carry out scientific research or other studies without the permission of the County Administrative Board
19. Fishing with anything other than a casting rod, mete or pimpel (hand gear according to Section 9 of the Fishing Act SFS 1993:787)

The regulations under C also apply to landowners and holders of special rights, with the exceptions listed below.
