Sjön Linden

Legend has it that a giant decided to settle in the beautiful Lönneberga region. He found a suitable spot in a mountain, where he dug himself a hall. But the north wind was blowing cold, so the giant took a fistful of earth and built a hill to protect himself from the wind. The next day the wind had changed and was blowing into the giant's den again. He was furious and threw up another mound of earth as a windbreak. The next night, a torrential rain filled the pits, where the giant had taken the earth for his shelter, with water and drowned the giant in his den. The pits became lakes Linden and Flen, and to this day, traces of the giant's fingers can be clearly seen in Linden's bays.

Kvarnö Kvarn is a Skvalt mill from the early 1800s. Skvalt mills were used to grind grain for domestic use. Skvaltor was the dominant type of mill, until modern times
