Description
From village to village along Öland's strikingly beautiful stone coast. Gaze out over the strait and enjoy the fresh sea breezes and the sound of the waves rolling in along the stone line. The experience changes as the round turns inland and the island's narrowest point at Södvik. Here, views of the sea break off into barns and farmland and vast expanses.
Tip: If you are doing the tour in summer, bring a blanket, a picnic and swimming gear and take a dip and experience true Greek feeling but at home. In Djupvik you will find the Elise restaurant, where the focus is on entrees where raw ingredients are refined with a modern twist. When you are in Sandvik, you will find an ICA shop, restaurants and a cosy harbour. A tip here is to grab an ice cream in Sandvik's mill.

Facts
Terrain:
The majority of the route is on minor asphalt road and a shorter section on gravel. The section next to Marsjö is on an easier gravel road with a bicycle bridge. Please note that the coastal section, Sandvik to Djupvik, can be busy during the summer months.
Signposting:
Follows Ölandsleden + Sweden Trail signage. Please note that there is no signposting between Djupvik and Vassbylund.
Season:
The tour can be experienced during all seasons of the year.

Surface
Majoriteten av sträckan går på mindre asfaltsväg och en kortare del även på grus. Sträcka intill Marsjö går på enklare grusväg med cykelbro. Observera att kuststräckan, Sandvik till Djupvik under sommarmånaderna kan vara hårt trafikerad.

I Djupvik finns en stor parkering.

Underbar runda, missa inte den fantastiska campingen, mycket enkel bara en vattenpump och torrtoaletter. Men läget, solnedgången och det härliga badet med antingen brygga eller gå i direkt.
