4. Lilla Helsike

A ravine is a valley formed by the breakdown of a watercourse into loose deposits, often of fine-grained material such as silt. However, ravines are different from valleys and are usually a relatively steep land formation, often between 20% and 70% slope. They also differ from canyons, which are formed in hard bedrock. Ravines can be both dry and flooded by the watercourse that once created them.
