Romanäs - Stora Envägen/Scharps väg 1,3 km

Stora Envägen/Scharps väg is an approximately 1.3 km long hiking trail that starts from Romanäs nature reserve's parking lot and takes you through beautiful coniferous forest down to Romanäs sanatorium. There are simple directional signs along the way from the parking lot and you start following Stora Envägen until the crossroads where the paths Östra promenaden/Stora Envägen/Scharps väg meet. Here you continue to follow Scharps väg until you come down to the asphalt road that continues to the left towards Romanäs sanatorium. Here you turn right instead to get back up to the parking lot. Scharps väg is named after the chief physician D. W Scharp who was active at Romanäs sanatorium, perhaps he himself has walked or prescribed walking along this road.
