Runestone from the
Viking Age, Skaftarp. Granite rune stone, 1.67 metres high, 0.4-0.5 metres wide
and 0.16-0.2 metres thick.
The inscription on
the rune stone translates as: “Sven [or Sten] and Starke erected this stone
after Gudmund, his father, this memorial by the crossroads.”
