Hallby, MTB-bana

At Hallby MTB Arena, IF Hallby's cycling section has created an area where there is cycling suitable for both large and small, experienced and beginners.

At Hallby you will find green, blue, red and black* loops as well as a blue-yellow MTB course that is largely based on the route from the SM the club hosted. The terrain is hilly, fun and the trails have many lovely turns. Built obstacles on the more difficult courses, such as jumps, drops, stone chests in combination with serpentine turns and climbs mean that the courses maintain a high competition standard.

The easier courses deliver cycling fun for smaller children as well as adult beginners. There is a technical area, a pump track and the possibility to train on drops.

The red MTB track is one mile long and runs on Hallbyleden which is shared with pedestrians. There is also the possibility to ride the Rallarleden between Hallby and Bottnaryd, a good choice for those who prefer long-distance MTB cycling.

IF Hallby MTB builds and maintains with ideal forces, feel free to swish the club a penny as a thank you for nice courses.

The following courses are available at Hallby MTB Arena:

• Black MTB course: about 5 kilometers
• SM course: about 3.5 kilometers
• Red MTB course, Hallbyleden: 10 kilometers
• Blue MTB course: about 3.5 kilometers
• Green MTB track: approximately 1 kilometer
• Technical area, pumptrack & practice drop

Bike wash is located at the back of the clubhouse and is available subject to water availability. Toilet and shower facilities are open to club members only. The parking lot is easy to find once you're there - and there are trail boards and signs to help you find your way.

MTB trails are color graded. Mountain biking uses the same system as alpine skiing._
