Description

Dannäs Parish Church
is aisleless with the steeple to the west and the sanctuary and a vestry to the
east. The church is built of stone with whitewashed façades. The oldest parts
of the church date from the 13th century. During the 19th century, the church
was rebuilt to its current size and shape. The nave and sanctuary have a hipped
and broken roof clad with brick. The steeple has a tent roof that is crowned
with a cross.

Inside the church there are
several old interiors, the oldest of which is a baptismal font of granite from
the 13th century. There is also a painted Madonna from the 15th century, a
triumphal cross of oak wood from the 16th century and a pulpit in baroque style
from 1642.
