Description
Some parts of the Ytterstvallen mountain pasture were completed as early as the 19th century. A place that today is the natural resting place for several trails in the Trillevallen area. During parts of the winter, the owners also open up one of the cottages and serve waffles to hungry passers-by. You can get to Ytterstvallen both from Trillevallen or Ottsjö.

Parking
In Trillevallen there are three major parking lots to choose from depending on which trail you choose to take. Parking directly adjacent to the trailhead for Trillevallen's cross-country trail can be found by following Trillevallenvägen until you have passed Trillevallens Högfjällshotell. Just after the hotel you will see the parking lot to the left of the road.

Alternative parking is available at the Trillevallen ski center and at Trillevallen Högfjällshotell.
Parking is always free for those who have a season lift pass or annual/season track pass in Trillevallen. To register your car, you need to contact the lift pass office and get your car registered.
If you do not have these track or lift passes and want to park between 9-17 during the period 26/12 - 8/1 or 17/2- 16/4, you pay your parking.
The parking is monitored by Aimo Park and you register your parking easily in the Aimo app. If you do not have the app, you can also pay via SMS info on the signs on site.

If you choose to start from Trillevallen.
From E 14, take the exit signposted to Undersåker. Here you pass over the railroad and follow the signs towards Trillevallen.
Once in Trillevallen, there are three different choices for parking. At Högfjällshotellet, the trailhead for cross-country skiing which is on the left after the road, or at the large parking lot at the ski center.
If you choose to start from Ottsjö
From E 14, take the exit signposted to Undersåker. Here you pass over the railroad and follow the signs past Trillevallen and up to the turnoff signposted Ottsjö. Then follow the road to the Ica store Ottsjöbua and park on the top of the road. Here passes trail 100 that takes you all the way to Ytterstvallen in winter.
