Kvarnbäckfallet

Start just beyond Juliusgården. There is a path going south from the road. Follow the path for about five hundred meters. From the top of the falls, you can see the mighty Lunndörrsfjällen mountains rising behind the village of Storsjö and Storsjön itself, which is Härjedalen's second largest lake.

Large parts of Berg municipality are reindeer herding areas. Most reindeer are in the mountains during the summer, but you may encounter them in the forest or along the roads all year round. It is important that you as a visitor show consideration for the reindeer. You do this by not stressing them. When you encounter reindeer, slow down, sit down and wait for them to pass or take a long detour past them. Always keep dogs on a leash where there are reindeer.
