Description
In this hilly nature reserve you can hike over rugged rocky outcrops, through old-growth spruce forests and across sloping bogs. Unfortunately, as spruce trees grow, they become susceptible to rot and eventually die. In the nature reserve there are many dead lying trees, flames, as a result of the high growth. Grimsån flows and meanders along the eastern border of the nature reserve. It is an important watercourse for trout and grayling. The river also provides high humidity, which rare mosses and lichens thrive on.

Från Olden kör mot Höjden och svänger där vänster mot Åkroken. I Åkroken ta av mot vänster och följ vägen. Denna väg övergår efterhand till grusväg. Efter ungefär 14,5 kilometer sväng sedan åt höger in på en skogsbilväg. Lämpliga ställen att ställa bilen är vid sidan av vägen vid skogsbilvägens infart eller längre upp längst skogsbilvägen där den delar sig i en trevägskorsning. Stigen in i området nås från den i vanliga fall bommade vägen rakt fram ifrån trevägskorsningen. Gå över ytterligare en bro över Grimsån och ta efter ungefär 100 meter in på stigen som dyker upp till höger. Stigen följer Grimsån.

- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:
- carry out or conduct organized outdoor activities, competitions, camp activities, military exercises or other organized events.
