Hills

From Trillevallen's high mountain hotel you take the trail up to Korsflon and continue up towards the alpine ski area. Up at the ski center you round the valley station of the Björnliften and now a relatively flat section through the mountain forest awaits you up to Norra stugan and Norra stugan's wind shelter.

Perhaps it is already time to take off a layer of clothes and load up for the coming uphills. Here the trail turns upwards towards the mountain side and you now have 1.5 kilometers of steep uphill ahead of you.

But the climb soon takes you above the tree line and now a fantastic view opens up. Parts of the trail go here in the groomed ski slope so watch out for oncoming skiers. Where the ski trail splits, take the transport to the right and round the ski system, all the time with the trail junction as your direction. You now pass above the lifts and further up towards the top of Välliste.

Once at the top 1025möh, we can recommend a visit to the top cabin and enjoy the 360-degree view for a while before continuing over the top and following the trail to the left of the top cabin and down the other side of the mountain.

Now the downhill runs begin and if it has been windy and occasionally mild, the descent can be challenging until the trail crosses trail 142 and flattens out. A final flatter section over the bare mountain now awaits before the trail turns back and down into the more protected mountain forest. The downhill sections then follow each other past Ripkallhöjden and down to Ytterstvallen. If it's time for lunch, waffles are also served here during some parts of the winter season in the traditional old mountain farm environment.

In gently undulating terrain, the trail then slopes further down towards Nyvallen before it once again begins a gentle climb back towards Bergstedt's cabins and back to the trailhead. Watch out for oncoming skiers between Ytterstvallen and back to Trillevallens Högfjällshotell. Here the trail is bidirectional.

Parking directly adjacent to the start of the Trillevallen cross-country trail can be found by following the Trillevallen road until you have passed Trillevallens Högfjällshotell. Just after the hotel you will see the parking lot to the left of the road.
