124 Vintervandring Vita Renen (vandringsled, Edsåsdalen)

Groomed winter trail for hikers.

**Preparation

Prepared first by snowmobile and as soon as snow availability allows with snow groomer.

Start/finish

Alternative start/finish from the parking lot at Dalen's track center, cross the road and continue the road up through the cottage area.

Alternative start/finish from Hotel Köjagården. Cross the road and start up the Kilan ski slope, to the left of the lift.

You can also choose to make a round trip instead of going back the way you came.

Difficulty level

Blue - easy

The difficulty rating ranges from Very easy - Easy - Moderate - Difficult. A very easy trail is a short hike in sheltered terrain without any steeper ascents or descents and tight curves. The longer the hike and the steeper the slopes, the higher the difficulty level.

Trail fee

Trail passes can be purchased and paid for digitally via Swish using the QR codes found at Edsåsdalen's two trail centers You can also find the QR codes on Edsåsdalen's website "

You can also pay for trail passes at the ticket office at Hotell Köjagården or at the lift pass office at Ravinliften. At the ticket offices you can pay by card or Swish.

By buying a trail pass, you help to ensure a continued high quality of trails and trails in Edsåsdalen.

**Tip.

Waste management

After the trail there are no garbage cans or possibility to throw garbage.

When you start the tour at Hotel Köjagården, you start by crossing the road and heading up towards the ski lift. The trail goes up the ski slope to the left of the lift.

At the top station of the lift, cross the lift and continue the trail up to the left. Here you continue up through the forest, past the Koran wind shelter and soon reach more open areas that can easily be exposed in windy weather.

The trail goes more or less uphill all the way up until you reach Vita Renen. Here you can stop, enjoy in front of the fire and get something warm to drink and something good to eat.

Go down the same way in the opposite direction. It is important that you walk in the groomed transportation part of the trail and not in the touring trail or the skate bed.

To Edsåsdalen by car

To get to Edsåsdalen via E14, turn off towards Undersåker and follow signs for Edsåsdalen. Just after crossing the railroad, turn right (signposted). Follow the road and you will arrive at Edsåsdalen.

If you are coming from the south on Vålådalsvägen, turn left before the bridge, just before Undersåker.

To Edsåsdalen by train + bus

You can get to Edsåsdalen by train and bus. Take the train to Undersåker station. SJ, Snälltåget and Norrtåg operate the route.

From Undersåker station you can take the Fjällupplevelsebussen or Länstrafiken Bus line 561 or 562.
