About Hiking Dalarna
There are few places in Sweden where hiking is as deeply rooted in history as in Dalarna. Here, we have always hiked – to and from summer pastures, with reindeer in the mountains, to our workplaces, and in connection with mining. We have a rich cultural heritage, while the wilderness is always close by. Silence and tranquility are never far away – a quiet forest lake, a sun-warmed pine heath, a mountain pasture, or a majestic mountain peak.

Common trail markings and a shared system for grading the trails makes it easy to find the perfect trails for you.
