On the square stands the Tree of Life, a work of art by Lars Stocks.

Shop in a turn-of-the-century environment The inner city's 80 shops in a charming turn-of-the-century environment preserve the personal business spirit of the past. The stately Sparbankhuset has become a shopping mall. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants. The Facklan movie house, located by the square, was opened in 2004.

The wooden church at the square was inaugurated in 1875, replacing the church that was destroyed in the great city fire of 1846. The location of previous churches can be seen marked in the square's paving stones. Regular markets have been held in the town since the 14th century. The market tradition is still kept alive. On the first Thursday of every month, all year round, stallholders and market visitors gather in the square.

Kungsbackaån

Try your luck at fishing in the middle of town! Free fishing licenses for Kungsbackaån for children under the age of 12 are available at Kungsbacka Tourist Office, where parents also buy their cards. In the 1950s, the river suffered a massive fish kill due to pollution and spills. During the 1960s, the river's entire salmon population died out. In the early 1980s, extensive measures were taken to improve the river's water system. Young sea trout were also planted in the river and its tributaries. These and later measures have meant that Kungsbackaån is now one of Halland's best sea trout waters, and the salmon population is also increasing strongly. Other fish species in the river are pike, perch, eel, whitefish, as well as whitefish such as ferna, bream, roach and others.

City Hall

In 1935, the old part of Kungsbacka's town hall was inaugurated. In addition to municipal administration, the building also housed the town hotel, banquet hall, library, bathing department, police station and liquor store. In the early 1980s, the new part of the town hall was built.

Lighthouse cultural center

The center of culture in Kungsbacka is Kulturhuset Fyren next to Kungsbackaån. The beautiful round building has been praised for its architecture and houses a library, art gallery, concert hall, cultural school and café.

Kungsmässan

When you walk the "Norra slingan" you pass the shopping center Kungsmässan with about 90 shops under the same roof.

Tölö church

The church was consecrated in 1864 and replaced the old church from the 12th century. Members of the Alströmer, Sahlgren and Silfverschiöld families are buried in the choir.

Forsgården golf course and Söderån

When walking on the "Northern Loop" you pass right next to Forsgården's golf course. Söderå flows through the golf course and winds beautifully through the terrain. To the east and south of Gårdskulla, the walk goes a long way along Söderå. If you're lucky, you might see a heron fishing in a reed bed.

Kungsbacka Sports Center

Kungsbacka Sportcenter is a complete facility for exercise, sports, recreation and events. The facility has a swimming pool with a 25-meter pool, gym, solariums, sports and exercise hall and a boule hall. There are also wrestling and judo facilities, and an ice rink with two rinks. There are ten grass pitches, one artificial grass pitch, one gravel pitch and one baseball and beach volleyball pitch

Kungsbacka Sportcenter is also surrounded by an illuminated exercise trail.
