Slottsparken

In the park next to Halmstad Castle you can see the only remaining remains of the old moat that surrounded Halmstad Fortress. Traces of the old fortification rampart can be seen on the castle wall where the old route across Södra vägen has been walled in. You can also see the tree-covered hills where the rampart began its crescent-shaped course. Don't miss Fredrik Wretman's artwork 0+0=8, or "Nollan" as it is popularly known.
