Become One with Nature on Cross-Country Skis
Cross-country skiing is a fantastic way to experience nature. Gliding along the quiet trails among snow-covered trees is an unbeatable feeling.
Both beginners and pros can enjoy cross-country skiing, and it’s fun for adults and children alike. It’s also a low-impact form of exercise where you can adjust the difficulty level yourself by choosing your pace, terrain, and distance.
When there’s enough snow, there are plenty of places in the “green wedges” where you can find your favorite trail.
TIP! When you’re just starting out, it’s a good idea to borrow, rent, or buy used equipment.
You can find information about trail conditions on each municipality’s website or at skidspår.se.
Ice Skating on Lake Rinks
Ice skating on plowed lake rinks is enjoyed by many on beautiful winter days. Within the Kilsamverkan municipalities, there are plowed lake ice rinks in every municipality. The rinks are often maintained in collaboration with local clubs.
Up-to-date information about the rinks is available on each municipality’s website and from the clubs involved in their maintenance.
Never skate alone, respect the ice, and make sure you’re properly equipped.
