Description
Norrberget är ett litet berg som når 210 meter över havet och ligger cirka två mil från kusten. Det finns inga stigar i området så här får du ströva fritt i området. Skogen och berget bjuder på fina naturupplevelser.
Området ligger 4,5 kilometer söder om Nianfors och omfattar 10 hektar. Inom det lilla naturreservatet finns två olika typer av skog. Uppe på berget växer en gammal gles hällmarkstallskog med gott om gamla och grova tallar. Det finns även död tallved i form av liggande och stående träd.
I den nedre delen av naturreservatet övergår tallskogen i blandskog där asp och björk växer tillsammans med gran. De största naturvärdena i denna skog ligger i rikedomen på äldre lövträd som asp och björk som är en bristvara i dagens skogslandskap.
I den nedre delen av berget är marken näringsrik vilket gör det till en viktig plats för växter.
I närheten av naturreservatet finns ett flertal fåglar som trivs i lövskogar. Till exempel gråspett, skogsduva och mindre hackspett.

Regulations
Special rules apply within the nature reserve. It is not allowed to:
- drive motorized vehicles other than on roads intended for motorized traffic. Exceptions apply to moose tractors or similar that are needed to transport larger game from the area during the hunting that is permitted in the nature reserve
- taking firewood. Firing is only permitted with your own firewood
- damage, pick or collect plants, animals (including insects), fungi and lichens. However, picking berries, edible mushrooms and flowers for personal use is permitted, with the exception of red-listed and protected species
- climbing nest trees, staying close to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow, or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife. The exception is the hunting that may be carried out in the nature reserve
- breaking branches, felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees and shrubs, or doing other damage to living or dead trees and plants
- put up a board, poster, poster, sign or make an inscription
- damaging any fixed object or surface formation, such as moving or removing stones
- using recorded sound in a disruptive manner, or using it to attract birds or other animals.
