Description
Kajevallsleden runs between Kolarberget in Delsbo to Kolsvedjaberget in Ljusdal, 44 km. This stretch from Kolarberget in Delsbo to the village of Långede offers varied terrain. The hill up or down Kolarberget is surrounded by mixed forest. The slope is long and tough, and many skiers, including world champion Tomas Magnusson, have done several training sessions here. From Lissel-Ecklingen, the trail runs on a gravel road through Eckelsbo surrounded by farmland and pastures. Then the trail turns into a smaller path that goes on marshland and former farmland to then pass Långedetjärn. After Långedetjärn, the trail goes over marshland where the Virgin Mary Keys bloom in June/July. An easy hike downhill takes the hiker to the village of Långede. There the trail enters a gravel road that goes over Bjuransbäcken and under the old railroad Dellenbanan.
