Welcome to Långhed’s community association and HÖKEN’S SMEDJA.
We are happy that you are visiting Långhed and want to take part in our cultural heritage. Here we tell you about the forge that we are very proud to manage.
This is an old forge from the beginning of the 20th century. Here the blacksmith Johan made simpler tools for forestry and agriculture. He stopped working here in 1958 and then he left all the fixtures and also his cap behind. Since 1998, the building has been restored and can now be visited.
