Tryssjöbodarna

The 1663 fäbod list mentions "Tryseberg - a fäbod place used by By and Sälkarlarna". In 1684 Lars Andersson from Djur lived here.

In 1687 Per Hansson from Ytterbacka, Erik Jansson from Utby and Lars Persson's heirs were given the right to build here. In 1701, Hans Andersson and Kerstin Larsdotter from Rista were each granted the right to occupy a valley here and to build the necessary houses. In 1704, Mats and Anders Persson's sons in By were given the right to set up shelters on their old ancestors' plots. In the same year, Mats Jonsson, Daniel Ersson and Lars Mattsson in Nysäl, together with their neighbors, were allowed to set up pastures here.

The co-owners of Tryssjöbodarna and Prästbodarna often disputed over grazing.

In the 1811-1817 census, Tryssjöbodarna had 31 co-owners, nine of whom were from By and the same number from Nysäl. The others came from Utby (four), Djur (three), Djurås and Ytterbacka (two each), Lindan and Svedjan (one each).

Even in the summer of 1933, nine farmers had their animals here.
