Sångån vandringsled

Along the eastern side of Sångån, a path winds between logs and stones. Mainly through older forest. One can imagine that the rafts went here at the time they had a big job to make sure that the logs came down in good order to Flosjön. Or is it the path of all those who have trampled to mills and stamps that have been along the river? Yes, people have walked here for a long time and anyone who pays attention will notice that there are remnants of dams and after floodway clearing. But despite various human interventions, it is an exciting and living watercourse with great biodiversity.

The path has recently been marked and signposted on the eastern side of the river, but you can make a nice round trip by going over Hålldammen and continuing back south along a marked larger path and cycle path.
