The trail takes you over both paved road, gravel road and hiking trails. In the strikingly beautiful Dala-Floda, you walk through the village along the west valley river, pass the church and cross Sweden's longest wooden bridge via the church to walk along farmland and through forest in other parts.
Along the walk you will pass Kvarna, which is an industrial area in good condition with many centuries of activity in its history.

In Dala-Floda there are the Flokullornas restaurants by Ica and the Byns skafferi near Flosjön at Värdshuset. The very nice café Hjort-Olars is located just over a hundred meters from the wooden bridge on the opposite side of the river from the church.
