Description
Himmelsbergsleden is a 23 km long hiking trail on the border between the Finn forest and old pastures northwest of Svartnäs. Experience Nysjön's pasture, the Finn village Nilslarsberg, Sörmyrens nature reserve, views from Himmelsberget and sunset at Stor-Sixen's sandy beach. The trail is a demanding day trip that can be divided into two 15 km long day trips via Himmelsberget.

Himmelsbergsleden is being remarked with orange trail marking paint and new directional signs. Svartnäs Intresseförening is responsible for the trail.
Parking
You can park and start the hike from several different places. There is a large parking lot in Nysjön's shed. At Sixån in Nilslarsberg there is an old gravel pit where you can park your car. And in Båtpers you can turn left onto a forest road and drive down towards Sörmyren. Keep right where the road splits and park at the turnaround where the road ends.
