Description
In the 1811-1817 census, Hålbodarna had 19 co-owners from the villages of Skogen, Svedjan, Näset and Mjälgen.
In the summer of 1933, eight of the ten cabins were used. Twelve farmers had 43 cows and three heifers on summer grazing. Like so many other mountain farms, Hålbodarna consists of several clusters of houses, such as Jansbacken, Hensbacken and Skogsbacken.
