Kyrkstigen Bjursås-Sjövik-Åhls kyrka

Until the 18th century, the church path was a hiking trail for church members from Bjursås to Åhl's church. Old and unfinished people were given dispensation to go to the old wooden church in Bjursås. One Sunday in August, a hike goes every year to the high mass in Åhl's church along Kyrkstigen and ends with traditional rowing in a church boat.

The church path stretched from Bjursås via Kullgärdets fäbod, Dordis, Åhl-Tällberg, Varåsen, Solberga to Sjövik at Insjön where church boat rowing took place. After the church service, they returned all the way.

The church path was restored in 2017 by members of Åhls Hembygdsförening and is marked with blue paint.

The church path is crossed in two places by the cultural-historical hiking trail Järnfyran when it goes up Sommarberget and then down again. At one of the crossroads there is a simple rest area. Järnfyran is marked with orange color.
