There are many paths and roads on Ryssberget in and outside the nature reserve where the recreational value is high. In addition to the two blue and white marked loops, there are small detours. The white-marked loop is also suitable for mountain biking, for which Ryssberget also has its own trails.

The nature reserve has a high natural value. In the forests there is plenty of food for birds of prey and in the reserve buzzards, pigeon hawks, red gladiators and buzzards nest together with the nocturnal owl. There are also plenty of deer, elk, hare, wild boar and badger. For those who are interested in mushrooms, there are a large number of mushroom species such as skeletika and mountain mushrooms.
